“It is not that schools never change. It’s that schools
change very slowly”
Through my reading and tracing to the history of technology
at the beginning of the chapter, I noticed that educators always feel unease to
use modern technologies in their classrooms .They always complained about the
struggle of their students in using them. We as educators can’t deny the revolution
and change that happened in our classes’ cues of technology and its impact.
However, depending on technology in teaching has many limitations and boundaries,
as in my country we can’t afford enough computers to our students and we also
don’t have a trained teachers who can help students to carry on their learning
with the help of different kinds of technologies. On the other hand, what I
have noticed here in Harrisonburg is there is sort of over-use of technology in
some classes which automatically minimize the role of the teacher. The question
here is can technology function better than human interaction? I believe that a
good teacher can’t be replaced by technology .But with the help of technology
he can make learning interesting an effective experience to his students.
Another advantage of it is make students responsible for their own learning and
be
active member in the
learning process. Learners will be producers rather than receivers
